The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels and loads no external fonts or scripts. Nothing you do on the page is recorded beyond the technical server logs described below. The only data you actively provide is what you type into the contact form or send by email — both are processed solely to answer your enquiry.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, on infrastructure with global points of presence.

When a page is requested, the hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data, which typically includes:

This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and to maintain its security and stability. The legal basis is the overriding legitimate interest in secure and functional operation (Art. 31 revFADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where applicable). This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Because the hosting provider is based in the United States and operates infrastructure internationally, data may be transferred abroad. Such transfers are covered by the provider's contractual data protection commitments, including EU standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and tracking

No cookies are set. No web analytics, tracking pixels, advertising technology, session recording or A/B testing tools are used. No consent banner is therefore required.

Fonts, scripts and embedded content

All fonts are served from this website's own domain. No content delivery networks, font services, video embeds, map embeds or social media widgets are loaded. As a result, no data is transmitted to third-party providers when you view the page.

The value calculator

The interactive calculator on this website runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not transmitted, stored or logged anywhere. Its output is an illustrative model and not advice.

Contact form

The contact form on this website is processed by Netlify Forms, a service of the hosting provider named above. When you submit the form, the following data is transmitted and stored: the name, email address, company, role, topic, timing and message you enter, together with the time of submission and the IP address of the submitting device.

This data is processed exclusively to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to one, to initiate a business relationship (Art. 31 revFADP; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR where applicable). It is not used for advertising, not passed to third parties for their own purposes, and not used to build profiles.

Form submissions are stored on the hosting provider's infrastructure in the United States and forwarded to my email inbox. Transfers abroad are covered by the provider's contractual data protection commitments, including EU standard contractual clauses. Submissions are deleted from the form service once the enquiry has been dealt with, at the latest after twelve months. Correspondence that becomes part of a business relationship is retained in line with the statutory retention obligations set out below.

The form uses a hidden field to filter automated spam. This field is not visible to you, records nothing about your behaviour, and sets no cookie.

Providing the marked mandatory fields is necessary to process an enquiry; all other fields are optional. Please do not submit confidential transaction details, trade secrets or personal data of third parties through the form. An encrypted channel can be arranged on request.

Contact by email

If you contact me by email, your email address, name and the content of your message are processed for the purpose of responding and, where relevant, for the initiation and performance of a business relationship (Art. 31 revFADP; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR where applicable).

Email is transported over the internet and cannot be guaranteed to be confidential. Do not send sensitive information — including trade secrets, transaction details or personal data of third parties — by unencrypted email. An alternative channel can be arranged on request.

Email correspondence is stored for as long as necessary for the business relationship and thereafter in line with applicable statutory retention obligations, which under Swiss law are generally ten years for business records.

Links to LinkedIn

This website links to a LinkedIn profile. No LinkedIn code is embedded, so no data is transmitted to LinkedIn until you actively click the link. From that point, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.

Disclosure to third parties

Personal data is not sold, rented or passed on for advertising purposes. Disclosure occurs only where necessary to provide the website (hosting), where required by law or official order, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions and limits of applicable law, you have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data deleted or its processing restricted, to receive certain data in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise these rights, contact remy.heilmann@outlook.com. Proof of identity may be requested. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with your local supervisory authority.

Data security

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS), recognisable by the padlock in your browser's address bar. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the website or in legal requirements. The version published here at the time of your visit applies.
